MGC Lighting Group was founded as MGC Lamps way back in the mid 1970’s. Although that seems a very long time ago, we haven’t lost those key essential abilities that enabled us to grow quickly and become one of the world’s largest independent lamp specialists.

Both domestically , and serving a global market too, MGC has provided the key ingredients needed for any service business- understanding a customer’s needs, showing flexibility, durability and delivering on our promises.

We are very proud that our legacy product range- Entertainment Lighting – is still the backbone of our business, and although this market has seen huge challenges of late, we have been there every step of the way to support our customers as they re-develop their own businesses in this tough times.

But it is Medical Lighting where we have seen phenomenal growth in the last 20 years, and we are now proud to say that not only are we an essential supplier to the NHS in the UK, but we supply the worlds medical markets too.

Although lamps and lighting remain our core business, we have a very successful track record in supplying and installing medical equipment too- everything from dermatology to Ophthalmic equipment, and a highly reconised supplier of medical batteries, light source cables, and a range of hand held equipment too.

Our staff have countless years of combined experience in all of these areas, giving us a genuine understanding of our customer’s requirements and their business needs.
